But wait! There's more!
Whilst teaching fewer students face to face, you are privileged to be allowed to teach all enrolled students via online portals. Yep, your lesson prep, regardless of whether you prefer manual lesson plans or online tools, must concert both delivery methods. Goodbye family time, relaxed evenings distressing.
Then of course there's double checking are marking.
Welcome to the Lockdown Marathon.
We've worked with a Coach to help us devise better work and living strategies. Our mental health needed a shift in perspective and we thought you could benefit from one of the exercises.
Talk non-stop for 2 minutes in front of a mirror, with a friend or online, about why this lockdown is hard for you and your family or work colleagues. No positives allowed for 2 minutes. Now close your take a deep breath (3 counts inhale, 4 counts hold, 5 counts exhale.) On the exhalation say to yourself "Let go" as you let go of all the negatives you just discussed.
Repeat 2 or 3 times. They still exist, they are just no longer bottled up inside you.
-Develop maths skills using the medal tally
-Build kids geography understanding and help them learn of countries they never knew existed
-Identify different flags of countries
-Develop international history, popular culture, customs.
Eg: How do they differ? How are they similar? What has been the impact on their lives by CoVid?
